국제갤러리의 마이클 주, 박찬경, 오형근, 정연두, 함경아는 오는 9월 26일부터 2016년 1월 17일까지 프랑스의 대표적인 현대 예술축제 Lille3000에서 주최한 기획전 <SÉOUL VITE, VITE! >에 참여한다.
이 전시는 RENAISSANCE 라는 표어를 중심으로 다양한 실험성을 지닌 전시들과 공연들을 통해 전방위적인 도심의 축제를 구성했다. 특별히 이번 <SÉOUL VITE, VITE!>는 빨리빨리!라는 은유의 전시제목을 통해 서울을 기반으로 다이내믹한 시대성을 반추하는 작품 및 작가들을 선정, 그들 각자의 방식으로 내밀한 관찰과 성찰을 통한 도심 속 한국인들의 일상과 그 안에 내재된 정치적 긴장감, 정신과 문화, 유산, 분단국가의 상처를 드러내는 작품들을 통해 흥미로운 전시를 선보이고자 한다.

Kukje Gallery’s Michael Joo, Park Chan-Kyong, Hein-kuhn Oh, and Kyungah Ham are participating in SÉOUL VITE, VITE!, an exhibition organized by one of the most notable French contemporary art festivals Lille3000, open from September 26, 2015 to January 17, 2016.
Organized around the theme, RENAISSANCE, this multifaceted festival comprises of a variety of experimental exhibitions and performances. Under the umbrella of the metaphorical title, hurry hurry!, works and artists that reflect a dynamic epoch of Seoul were selected. By seeking to observe and self-examine the inner self of the city inhabitants, each artist reveals an unspoken political tension, spirit, culture, heritage and emotional wound inherent to a divided nation through their own unique vocabulary.
