5C5C는 베를린, 뉴욕, 파리, 로마, 서울 다섯 개 도시에서 활동하는 예술가 열네 명의 작품을 소개하는 국제전으로 각 도시에 기반을 둔 여섯 명의 큐레이터들의 서로 다른 기획 의도를 조합한 전시이다. 이 전시는 각 큐레이터가 꼽은 대표적인 작가들의 활동과 작품을 국제적인 맥락에서 조명함은 물론 하나의 작품을 국제 미술계에 선보일 때 발생할 수 있는 갖가지 쟁점들과 현대미술의 지배적인 풍경이 국제적인 것과 지역적인 것의 연접(conjunction)을 통해 이루어지고 있음을 보여준다.
5C5C는 2011년 서울 상상마당에서 시작되어 현재 로마에서 진행 중이며 이후 베를린, 파리, 뉴욕으로 이동하게 된다. 국제갤러리 전속 작가인 박미나 작가는 서울을 대표하는 작가 중 한 명으로 선정되어 <드로잉 시리즈>, 그리고 <딩벳 페인팅>의 작품들을 선보인다.

5C5C is a group exhibition presenting the work of fourteen artists working in five cities: Berlin, New York, Parks, Rome and Seoul. The participating artists were selected by six curators, one based in each of those cities. Combining five distinct curatorial concepts, the exhibition explores individual artistic practice and production in a global context. By the sheer nature of the project, the works selected shed light on current concerns when presenting artwork to the global art community and demonstrate the ways in which the prevailing contemporary art scene is constructed through conjunction between the global and the local.
Opened at SangSangmadang Gallery, Seoul in 2011, 5C5C is currently taking place in Rome and planned to travel to Berlin, Paris and New York. One of the presented artists by Kukje Gallery, MeeNa Park is selected as one of two representing artists for Seoul and showing her selected works from Drawing series, Old Cities and Dingbat Painting series.
